The problem
Admissions and registrar teams evaluate domestic and international transcripts by hand: converting quarter units to semester hours, recalculating GPAs and interpreting hundreds of grading scales, from Chinese percentage marks to UK Class Honours. Reviews take weeks, evaluators interpret the same record differently, and admitted students accept faster-responding campuses. The product site puts the cost of that delay at up to $11,000 in lost enrolment per student.
The solution
TruEnroll is an AI evaluation co-pilot and enrolment engine. It reads a transcript, extracts every field, normalises grades to a US GPA, checks the document for fraud and sends a decision-ready result to the admissions CRM. My design job was to make all that machinery feel trustworthy and effortless for the people who sign off on each decision.
Design focus
Evidence over black box
Every calculated field links back to its exact location on the original transcript, so evaluators can verify an AI result in a click instead of taking it on faith.
A single evaluation workspace
The source transcript, extracted fields, US GPA, credits recognised and fraud checks live side by side, so a reviewer never has to switch tools to reach a decision.
Confidence and human override
Results carry a confidence score and surface anomalies (such as a grade-table variation) for the reviewer, while registrars keep one-click control to override policy.
Built into existing workflows
Results flow straight into Slate, with Salesforce, PeopleSoft and Banner integrations following, so teams keep working where they already work.
How it works

Document verification and ingestion
Upload domestic PDFs or foreign marksheets. TruEnroll scans for altered text, modified PDF coordinates and unaccredited institution codes, then extracts the record into structured, reviewable fields across 50+ languages.

Policy-enforced GPA recalculation
Quarter, CATS and ECTS credits are converted automatically, non-transferable electives dropped, and 150+ international grading scales normalised to a US equivalent, with default or fully custom scales.

Source-linked audit
Hovering over any calculated field highlights the exact source coordinates on the original transcript, alongside tamper detection and institution and accreditation checks.
